September, 2006:
Back from Helsinki, Finland! What a trip. There I drank currant-flavored vodka, ate a year's worth of salmon and had the time of my life teaching some of the funniest and sharpest students I've ever encountered. But man, was it good to come home! Thanks again, Jenny! I hope to see you in Portland next spring, dear friend.

Also: My collection of photographs from the 2005 Iraq War Protest are now on exhibit for the Cui Bono show at Ouch My Eye gallery in Seattle. Thanks to Bob for hanging my work in my absence; I missed the opening due to travel but will be there for the close on October 7th.

August, 2006:
The room at Clifftop is nearly complete! Check out pics from before we remodeled, and the new-and-improved view:

More to come as we finish up!

July, 2006:
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Clinton/Division Fair! The day was a scorcher but everyone was a great sport. Check out my new fridge magnets! Hot seller of the day: No Bombing

Available online at Cafepress.com & Mirador, Kitchen Store here in Portland.

August, 2006:
Set to decorate an adopted room at The Clifftop Inn in Oceanside, Oregon. Two weeks of free vacation in exchange for my hard work! That, and the opportunity to sell my work in the gift shop. Thank you, Lorrena & Karah!

September, 2006:
I'll be in Helsinki the week of September 10th, conducting a three-day collaborative writing workshop. Hooray, Finland! And a BIG thank you to Jenny!

Summer, 2006:
Chris, Lucy and I leave our home in Washington and head west to Portland! Here we are in Baltimore, loaded down with baggage. The psychic variety you can't see, of course!

October 24th, 2005:
Lulu! Although the hospital claims she was born at 6:09 a.m., I remember looking at the clock. It was really 6:08!

October, 2005:
Chris, hawking my photos at Crafty Bastards in Washington, DC. I was busy at home, being bitchy and overly pregnant!

September, 2005:
Chris and I attended the Iraq War Protest. We were two (three, really, if you count Lucy!) among hundreds and hundreds of thousands, despite what the media may have you believe.

Summer, 2005:
The view from here: I spent July in residency at the Julia & David White Colony in Ciudad Colon, Costa Rica. Costa Rica was an amazing, amazing place. I am so thankful I was able to spend time there, honing my craft. I was six months pregnant at the time -- what a blast!
