About Janet in Portland

Janet in Portland was founded in 2006 by photographer and writer Janet Freeman. After many years selling photography at art fairs, galleries, local stores and gift shops, Janet decided it was time to create an online venue where folks could browse at their leisure and not worry about having to make small talk with the artist-however charming and witty she may be.

Janet's photographs span the globe, offering an eclectic mix of the political, personal, and everyday moments that often offer the most poignant revelations. All photographs are shot using an SLR and are never digitally manipulated.
